The company is listed in the Registry of Tourism Enterprises by the Greek Regional Office of Tourism in Thessaly, with license number 0726E60000039301. The legal representative of the company is Mr. Katsouris Gerasimos.
2. General Terms and Conditions
The use of the website and the services offered by the greektrip.gr is subject to the present General Terms and Conditions. It is noted that the General Terms and Conditions of greektrip.gr apply to all tickets – services orders through the greektrip.gr website. By purchasing and booking a ferry ticket, hotel or any other service offered by the greektrip.gr, the user agrees and accepts the General Terms and Conditions.
In case of violation any of the General Terms and Conditions, greektrip.gr has the right to reject reservation orders.
3. Services
Greektrip.gr is a website that offers tourism products and services. Is acting as an intermediary for services (ferry tickets, vacation packages, boat rentals, etc.), by the suppliers and service providers indicated on the website. The user should consult the General Terms and Conditions of the respective suppliers. The reservation of products or services through the website is possible only in case of availability.
If a reservation is made, the agreement refers exclusively to the user and the supplier of that product or service. Greektrip.gr, has no responsibility and no obligation to compensate the Customer for any incidental or consequential damages or lost profits suffered by fault or negligence of the supplier using the above website.
4. Reservation
Upon completion of the relevant fields through the special booking form on our website and the booking process, the user gives explicit mandate to greektrip.gr to act as the broker in providing travel services, either by the requested supplier or any other travel services. The user should consult on the General Terms and Conditions of the respective suppliers before the purchase of any product or service.
As user´ s orders to greektrip.gr in order to mediate on services and products offered via the website, are considered the following in particular:
- Reservations or services, performed by the user through greektrip.gr.
- For ferry and other services provided through greektrip.gr the payment methods are listed for each service. The vacation package bookings and yachting payment is possible by bank deposit.
The reservation order is in any case binding for the user.
In case of short-term changes for any service selected by the user, e.g. in case of delay or cancellation of ship itineraries e.t.c., greektrip.gr will try to contact and inform the user via telephone or email, on the condition that greektrip.gr will have been timely notified by the respective supplier. For transfers, delays and cancellations of itineraries or other travel services and products of the supplier greektrip.gr holds no liability.
The user is responsible for compliance with the conditions according to the supplier´s terms, e.g. “check in” terms and conditions. The user is informed about these terms by the specific supplier.
Should the user violate the Terms of Use of the website, greektrip.gr has the right to reject reservation orders.
For any dispute or problem occurrence regarding a product or service purchased, each supplier, remains solely responsible.
5. Reservation Confirmation
In case of booking through the website of greektrip.gr the user will receive from greektrip.gr or directly from the supplier confirmation of the reservation by e-mail (e-mail).
The user is obliged to check IMMEDIATELY the correctness of the confirmation data (name, date of departure, destination, etc.) and to inform the greektrip.gr for any errors or omissions as soon as possible and in any event within the same calendar day. Errors reported by the user after the day of the reservation, will be disregarded. Greektrip.gr will make every effort to correct any errors but in any case can not guarantee that the correction of the error is possible without cost even after a timely respond by the user. It is noted that the overdue reporting of errors or the inability to rectify them,under no circumstances gives right to withdraw from the contract.
The user is responsible for compliance with the conditions set by each supplier such as check in terms and conditions. The user is informed of these terms from the specific supplier.
6. Documentation
Ferry tickets can be sent to the customer by post at his request, or by courier (shipping costs are borne by the customer) also they may be collected from greektrip.gr offices. They can also be delivered to the ferry company branches at the departure port (usually located in the gate of the respective boat). In this case the customer will receive by phone or e-mail the reservation code. The greektrip.gr holds no liability for loss of tickets and travel documents sent by post.
7. Fees
The greektrip.gr fee is included in the total price of the service or product.
Greektrip.gr is informed about the prices of travel products and services by the suppliers. For price changes by the provider, the greektrip.gr bears no responsibility.
The greektrip.gr is not responsible for any reservation fees imposed by the supplier in case of cancellations of travel or services. These fees are borne solely by the user.
8. Payment Methods
The payment methods are listed in detail on greektrip.gr, separately for each product or service. The accepted payment methods are also listed on the website. For online ferry tickets reservations the customer has the option of paying via credit, debit and prepayed cards of Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express.
Before payment, greektrip.gr has no obligation to transfer tickets or other travel documents to the user. In any case, the customer’s obligation to pay for the services and products ordered, remains.
Greektrip.gr may in its sole discretion ask the user to submit any evidence relating to the home address or a copy of his credit card, or send it by post before the final issue of the ticket.
Greektrip.gr has the right to send the tickets, confirmations, vouchers or other travel documents, solely to the address stated by the user to the bank or the issuer of his credit card.
9. Cancellations, changes
The ability to change or cancel a ticket, a trip or another product or service offered by greektrip.gr depends solely on the conditions set by each supplier to which greektrip.gr has no influence, and is presumed and agreed that are accepted by the Customer, upon the purchase of a specific service or product from the supplier.
Before any reservation, the Customer must read and agree to the fare rules and regulations of each supplier’s product or service.
For transfers, delays and cancellations of travel services and products of the respective supplier, greektrip.gr bears no responsibility.
The costs that may occur when changing or canceling a travel service, which is determined solely by the terms of the respective supplier, are borne solely by the user.
If the supplier gives the user the right to cancel or change the selected product or service, the user shall be obliged to inform greektrip.gr via e-mail at info@greektrip.gr regarding his request (opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 14:00). If the order cancellation / change is sent outside working hours then as the day of receipt of the order will be considered the next working day.
The greektrip.gr can not cancel or modify any reservation without prior written request by the user.
In case of complete or partial cancellation of a reservation, a travel or any other product or service provided through the website, greektrip.gr remuneration for the mediation Is not refundable and there is a fixed charge as follows:
For cancelations: The greektrip.gr fee is not refundable
For changes: The greektrip.gr fee amounts to 3 euros per ticket.
If the user has to return tickets received by greektrip.gr, the shipping costs shall be born by the user.
10. Refund
The date for a refund of cancelations depends on the type of service.
In particular, in case of cancellation or change on ferry tickets, the refund will be made once the ferry company has accepted its obligation to return the money and has started previously, with the refund process. The refund to the customer will take place no earlier than a month since the date of cancellation. For possible delays due to ferry company, the greektrip.gr is not responsible.
Refunds on other services of greektrip.gr, will be made after 30 days since the cancellation date, with the aforementioned conditions.
11. Rejection of reservation
Greektrip.gr has the right to reject orders for reservation entered by the user, in case of violation of the website´s terms of use.
12. Provisions relating to passports, visas, currency, health regulations and other travel documents
In the case the user travels abroad, existing provisions of each country should be respected concerning passports, visa, customs, taxes and provisions for imports and exports, as well as health conditions. The responsibility for compliance with the provisions above shall be borne solely by the user. The website of greektrip.gr some information is provided, but in no case greektrip.gr is responsible for the validity and completeness of this information. For valid information, the user must contact the travel supplier or the Consulate of the country to travel.
Greektrip.gr bears no responsibility regarding travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) that the client should possess in order to travel.
Ensuring the required documents is an obligation of the passenger.
13. Exclusion of Liability
The information and details about the services and products are provided by the supplier. Greektrip.gr makes every effort to verify all the information published on the website for any errors, omissions and inaccuracies. In any case the greektrip.gr can not guarantee the relevance, correctness, completeness and validity of this information.
More specifically greektrip.gr bears no responsibility for:
- The non-availability of the service or product
- Errors, omissions, breaches or denial of each supplier
- Injury, death, property damage or other damage that may result from services of the supplier.
- Delays and cancellations overbooking, strike, force majeure that are not in its direct control.
- The privacy policy on links from third party websites.
- The information provided and published by the supplier regarding its services.
- For any fault or defect of the supplier´s product or service, the supplier remains solely responsible for compensating the client.
This website contains links to third party websites. Greektrip.gr is not responsible for the availability, privacy policy, content of these pages and their completeness or any damage arising from the use, since the user is accessing them on his own responsibility.
Greektrip.gr or partners have the right to make changes to the website at any time.
14. User´s responsibility
Using this website the user must be over 18 years old and meets the legal conditions of use of this website as well as thereby undertaking the liability for any use of the website by minors on his behalf. Any use of the website for misleading purposes, or profit or purposes that could cause any damage to the provision of services is prohibited. Any non-legitimate action in the use of this website shall result in user´s exclusion from accessing the services provided.

17. Applicable law
The law applicable in the relations between users of the website and greektrip.gr is exclusively the Greek law excluding any rules of private international law.
Responsible for resolving disputes arising between the parties are the courts of Volos.
18. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions
Greektrip.gr has the right at any time to modify or to renew the above General Terms and Conditions on the use of this site without any obligation to inform the user. In the website General Terms and Conditions will appear as they apply to this moment. With the further use of the website after a modification in General Terms and Conditions the user accepts the amendment.
